The authority has set a deadline of two months for the measures to be taken.<\/p>\n<p>Read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-removes-encroachments-in-bhara-kahu.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CDA removes encroachments in Bhara Kahu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CDA cited Clause 4.1.16 of the Islamabad Residential Sectors Zoning (Building Control) Regulations 2005, under which the city has to be specially-abled-friendly via the provision of infrastructure in all commercial and public buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The authority has stated that it will take strict action against those failing to meet the deadline for implementing the said regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Building Control Section (BCS) Directorate of the CDA has issued similar orders for government offices to construct ramps and other provisions for the specially-abled.
