Previously, the SCCI had asked the commissioner to provide guidelines about the amnesty scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to create awareness among the people about the new Assets Declaration Scheme, which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/government-announces-its-first-tax-amnesty-scheme.html\">announced<\/a> by the federal government in May.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Inland Revenue has appointed superintendent Shahidullah Jan as head of the facilitation desk.
