Gujranwala: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has approved the construction of a children\u2019s hospital in the city, reported a news source.<\/p>\n

This 500-bed health facility, which is part of the provincial government\u2019s annual development programme for FY2019-20, would be completed at a cost of PKR 1 billion. For this purpose, the executive has allocated funds worth PKR 30 million in the first phase.<\/p>\n

As per reports, the government has directed the officials concerned to prepare the PC-1 for the project on an immediate basis. It has also decided to acquire land for constructing the hospital in collaboration with philanthropists and other notables.<\/p>\n
