The floodwaters had washed away a portion of the road. As a result of the glacial burst, and the subsequent damage to the road, the officials ordered the temporary closure of the artery in Hasanabad.<\/p>\n<p>The burst caused considerable damage to the boundary walls protecting the fields, as well as a piece of agricultural land. Few families were forced to relocate from the area.<\/p>\n<p>Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Chief Minister Hafeezur Rehman visited the area to review the situation.
