For this purpose, the executive recently allocated funds worth PKR 5 billion in\u00a0its provincial budget for FY2019-20.<\/p>\n<p>On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, officials of the revenue department visited the proposed construction site on Monday. This water supply scheme is expected to be completed at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/construction-of-dadhocha-dam-approved-cost-estimated-at-pkr-6027-million.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cost of PKR 6 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After construction of the dam, the installation of water supply lines and construction of water treatment plants will commence in the second phase.<\/p>\n<p>Read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pkr-22-19-bn-allocated-for-constructing-19-dams-in-rawalpindi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PKR 22.19 bn allocated for constructing 19 dams in Rawalpindi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the government has allocated funds for laying water supply lines from Chahan Dam to its adjoining areas, as well as setting up a water treatment plant.
