Karachi: The National Human Rights Commission of Pakistan\u2019s representative Anees Haroon and Karachi Circular Railway Affectees Action Committee Chairman Haji Khan Badshah have said in a joint statement that KCR affectees should be compensated with land as soon as possible \u2013 reported a news source.<\/p>\n
They said that before any more houses were destroyed, compensation should be provided to the people already affected by the previous actions.<\/p>\n
They said it should also be determined how much land KCR needs so that where a 5-feet cutting may be enough, 20-feet cutting of land should not be destroyed. Moreover, until the funds needed to make KCR functional are fully available, no new homes should be destroyed.<\/p>\n
