Rawalpindi: The district administration has begun developing more hill stations in its bid to reduce tourist influx in the country\u2019s existing centres of tourism; including Murree, a news source reported.
\nAccording to Divisional Commissioner Saqib Zafar, the Punjab government has directed the authorities concerned to develop more hill stations in the city, and to renovate all the historical buildings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nHe expressed the hope that the provincial government\u2019s efforts to create new tourist spots would, in turn, facilitate the creation of jobs for the local people.
\nTo facilitate this measure, the officials concerned recently identified several locations; including Rohtas Fort, Alexander the Great monument in Jhelum, and Kahuta among others. The administration plans to open state guest houses inside these destinations following restoration efforts.<\/p>\n
