The civic body is currently implementing its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-approves-new-building-by-laws-for-commercial-high-rises.html\">new building by-laws<\/a> in different sectors of the capital city, as well as in housing societies that come under its jurisdiction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/epa-cda-expected-to-reach-agreement-on-zoning-regulations-sc-told.html\">EPA, CDA expected to reach agreement on zoning regulations; SC told<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Building Control Section-II of CDA \u2013 following instructions of the authority\u2019s management regarding strict execution of the regulations \u2013 recently expedited its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/cda-declares-two-housing-schemes-in-zone-iv-illegal.html\">action <\/a>against illegally constructed structures in the capital city.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the campaign, it issued 340 notices to approved housing societies situated in Zones 2, 4, and 5; intimating that the construction of unauthorised structures and nonconforming use of properties is a violation of the Islamabad Zoning &amp; Building Regulations 2005.<\/p>\n<p>The constructions in question include 214 commercial and 126 residential structures.
