These schemes are slated for development under the current fiscal year, and were approved by Chairperson Planning and Development Board Naheed Shah Durrani.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this sanction, the provincial body had approved a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/schemes-worth-pkr-10-3-billion-approved-for-sindh.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">other development schemes<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p>One of the schemes is aimed at the health sector, and involves the establishment of psychiatry and accident\/emergency units at Sindh Government Hospital in Saudabad, Karachi. The estimated cost of this scheme has been put at PKR 518.116 million.<\/p>\n<p>Two schemes have also been approved for the local government sector: the Lyari Express Resettlement Project (LERP) worth PKR 8,719.80 million, and the rehabilitation and extension of a 5 million gallons per day (MGD) Pressure Rapid Filtration Plant at Unit no. 4, Latifabad, Hyderabad, worth PKR 745.090 million.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth scheme was approved for CDWP with regard to the Forest and Wildlife Department.
