He gave the approval after consulting the relevant experts while presiding over a joint meeting of the Irrigation, Water Experts, Consultants, Works Department Engineers and locals of the Kandhkot-Kashmore District.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/several-projects-worth-billions-rupees-under-development-cm-shah.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Several projects worth billions of rupees under development: CM Shah<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CM Shah directed the Works &amp; Services and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/irrigation-dept-asked-to-ensure-equitable-distribution-of-water.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Irrigation <\/a>departments to send the project to the Indus River Commission (IRC) for approval. It was revealed that the work on the project would begin immediately afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>The experts attending the meeting noted that water had spilled over the Tori Bund during the 2010 floods.
