The department has received approximately 5 million applications for the issuance of a new connection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/sngpl-to-refund-overcharged-consumers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SNGPL to refund overcharged consumers<\/a><\/p>\n<p>General Manager (GM) SNGPL Kabeer Ahmed Butt stated that, as per this target, 78% of the new connections will be issued in Gujranwala, while the remaining 22% will be allocated in Hafizabad. The demand notices for 15,000 applications have been issued already.
