Lahore: Pakistan has completed close to 90 per cent of the work on the Kartarpur Corridor project, including the construction of the main road, bridge and buildings from the site\u2019s zero line to the Gurdwara Sahib areas \u2013 a news source reported.<\/p>\n

According to details, the construction of the langar<\/em> khana<\/em>, darshan<\/em> khana<\/em>, administration block and washrooms had been completed, with work on the project\u2019s wiring, gas and water lines connection currently being carried out. The marble and tiling work had also commenced last month.<\/p>\n

The Kartarpur Corridor will reportedly allow Sikh pilgrims to visit the area without stringent visa requirements \u2013 with the first batch of visitors expected to reach the location in November this year.<\/p>\n

The head of Gurdwara Sahib Kartarpur Sardar Goband Singh asked the public to ignore the propaganda related to the project concurrent on the media, clarifying that the historic building had not been damaged in any way by the restoration work.<\/p>\n
