During the meeting, the council approved the following funds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PKR 1.3 billion for the Prime Minister\u2019s Community Infrastructure Development Programme (CIDP)<\/li>\n<li>PKR 320 million for uplift of the social sector<\/li>\n<li>PKR 240 million for the development schemes at the discretion of the Legislative Assembly members<\/li>\n<li>PKR 80 million for the development of under-construction bridges<\/li>\n<li>PKR 60 million for other schemes at the discretion of the members of the (defunct) AJK council<\/li>\n<li>PKR 52 million for initiating union council level schemes<\/li>\n<li>PKR 50 million for the construction of union council buildings<\/li>\n<li>PKR 40 million for the installation of solar street lamps in district headquarters<\/li>\n<li>PKR 30 million for a clean drinking water operation<\/li>\n<li>PKR 26.3 million for water and sanitation programme<\/li>\n<li>PKR 25 million for construction of link roads<\/li>\n<li>PKR 20 million for construction of buildings, repair of bridges, block provision, construction of LG&amp;RD directorate general office building<\/li>\n<li>PKR 16 million for district councils<\/li>\n<li>PKR 12 million for coordination council<\/li>\n<li>PKR 10.06 million for computerisation of the birth and death registration records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ajk-assembly-passes-pkr-121-56b-budget.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AJK assembly passes PKR 121.56b budget<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The meeting was informed that LG&amp;RD department had successfully executed over 8,601 schemes in the fiscal year 2018-19 in the AJK territory. These projects amounted to PKR 2.251 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the AJK premier lauded the department for achieving 100% completion of its development targets.
