Previously, the motorway police had launched a crackdown on LPG and CNG vehicles operating on M-1 and M-2 highways.<\/p>\n<p>OGRA recently requested the provincial governments and the inspector general of the motorway police to take action against all such PSVs, and also called for a complete ban on LPG cylinders installed in vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The regulatory body took these measures in response to severe fire accidents that frequently take place due to the unauthorised placement of LPG cylinders in vehicles.
