Rawalpindi: The Ministry of Climate Change and the National Clean Air Production Centre recently launched a campaign to raise awareness against plastic bags use in the twin cities of Islamabad<\/a> and Rawalpindi, a news source reported. The campaign formally kicked off on Tuesday (August 6).<\/p>\n

The pilot project was launched at a park situated in Islamabad\u2019s sector F-9. Members of the civil society, civic organisations, and students of Quaid-e-Azam University, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila, Fatima Women University and FAST University participated in this campaign.<\/p>\n

The members of this campaign shared details with the visitors in the parks on side effects of the plastic bag usage and importance of using carry bags made of fabrics.
