Lahore: Punjab Chief Secretary (CS) Yousaf Naseem Khokhar, on a recent visit to Kotli Sattian<\/a> to review the progress of its ongoing development projects, gave orders for the upgradation of all rest houses located within the area, a news source reported. He instructed the authorities concerned to take all possible measures for the development of the Rawalpindi tehsil<\/em> as a tourist destination similar to Murree.<\/p>\n

The development of the region as a tourist destination is expected to increase Pakistan\u2019s tourist base, as it would offer travellers new places to visit and experience, while also improving the living standards of the locals, added the CS.<\/p>\n
