Karachi: In an operation launched against encroachers in Mehran Town, the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) retrieved plots of overseas Pakistanis from illegal occupants, a news source reported. KDA Director General (DG) Dr Badar Jameel has instructed the KDA\u2019s Estate and Enforcement Wing to continue the operation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The operation to retrieve plots of overseas Pakistan from land mafia was supervised by the KDA DG, while officials from Sindh Government, Rangers, Police, deputy commissioner office and concerned administration assisted the development authority in this endeavour.<\/p>\n

DG Jameel said that all departments were on the same page against the land mafia. He also mentioned that the land mafia showed resistance, which the KDA handled with persistence and managed to free 80% of the illegally occupied parks, amenity plots, and sports grounds in the city.<\/p>\n
