FBR Chairman Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi inaugurated this programme at the authority\u2019s headquarters in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-launches-simplified-sales-tax-registration-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FBR launches simplified sales tax registration system<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Developed by the IR-Operations wing of the FBR, the software will be used to locate gaps in taxes and find out the actual sales tax\/FED liabilities of the taxpayers. It will also enable expediting the process of settling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/applications-all-sales-tax-refund-claimants-cleared-fbr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">refund claims<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbr-develops-faster-refund-payments-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FBR develops \u2018FASTER\u2019 refund payments system<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Zaidi was given a demonstration on the working of the software by a member of the IR-Operations wing, Seema Shakeel. The first batch of 25 field formation officers will be given access to the software by 11 September for test runs.
