He added that the officials concerned fully supported Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan\u2019s vision concerning the development of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/mou-signed-construction-of-500000-nphp-houses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MoU signed for construction of 500,000 NPHP houses<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The minister revealed that the relevant authorities were expeditiously carrying out development work on the affordable housing units. He added that the government had also established the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/npha-ordinance-to-be-tabled-before-na-today.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Naya Pakistan Authority (NPHA)<\/a> to ensure timely completion of the project. He explained that the NPHA\u2019s goal was to build five million houses, while the Housing &amp; Works Ministry was working as a facilitator on this front.<\/p>\n<p>Cheema said that the Federal Governmnet Housing Authority (FGEHF) and the Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) would construct an additional two-and-a-half million houses during the upcoming two-and-a-half years. He added that both organisations were subordinate functions of the Ministry of Housing &amp; Works.
