Under the new arrangements, both countries have agreed to complete the construction work on the project by 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/iran-shows-interest-in-joining-cpec.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iran shows interest in joining CPEC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As per officials, Pakistan will be able to purchase 75 million cubic feet of gas from Iran on a daily basis \u2013 following the pipeline\u2019s completion. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pakistan-iran-work-closely-pipeline-project-implementation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2775-kilometre-long pipeline<\/a> will transport natural gas from Iran to Pakistan. It will supply gas from the South Pars field and will be Iran\u2019s third cross-country gas pipeline project.<\/p>\n<p>As per reports, the terms of the agreement prohibit Iran from seeking international arbitration in case of delays in completion of the project from Pakistan\u2019s side.
