Meanwhile, the government has released PKR 400 million out of a total of PKR5.30 billion allocated for the project.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities concerned will construct the dam in the Sil River. Once completed, the Chahan Dam will help overcome the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/water-supply-plan-rawalpindi-prepared.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">issue of water scarcity<\/a> in different UCs of Potohar Town.
