Lahore: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has formed teams for the purpose of collecting taxes on transfer of property in several areas of Lahore, a news source reported.<\/p>\n

Initially, four teams have been formed for four major areas of the city. These teams will be stationed at, and will monitor, DHA, LDA, Izmir Town, and Valencia Town. They will be monitoring the transfer of properties in these areas, and ensure they collect all relevant taxes owed to the government. The collection of taxes on transfer of property has posed a serious issue for the authorities in previous years.<\/p>\n

The DHA team will be led by Inspector Nadeem Punnu, LDA team will be headed by Muhammad Shoaib, while the teams in Izmir and Valencia Towns will be led by Syed Abbas Ali Bukhari.<\/p>\n
