This phase involved removing key economic bottlenecks, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. An example is the completed construction of 1,544 KM of roadways, with work on a further 1,456 KMs underway. In addition, 5,320 Megawatts (MW) of electricity have been added to the national grid, and work on seven projects generating 4,170 MW is near completion.
