The projects are named the \u2018FATA Economic Revitalisation Programme\u2019 (FERP) and the \u2018Economic Revitalization of KP and FATA\u2019 (ERKF), respectively.<\/p>\n<p>FERP is being funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID); with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/undp-smeda-collaborate-economic-uplift-of-ex-fata.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and SMEDA<\/a> serving as the executing authorities. It aims to offer sustainable livelihood opportunities to facilitate the economic growth of the newly-merged tribal areas.
