Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a reward of PKR 100,000 for anyone who provides useful information with an aim to facilitate the arrest of litterers in the city, a news source reported. As per officials, the executive plans to take action against people found dumping garbage on roadsides and choking sewers with stones and gunny bags.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made by the Information and Labour Minister Saeed Ghani while addressing a news conference at the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday. He also assured people that the identity of the informants would be kept confidential.<\/p>\n

The minister also announced two dedicated WhatsApp numbers: +92 300 0074296 and + 92 300 0084296 for the purpose. People can send pictures and video clips exposing the actions of the miscreants intending to harm the clean-up drive<\/a>.<\/p>\n
