The provincial government has decided to make the move in a bid to prevent the deprivation of women\u2019s share in inheritance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/blog\/zameen-com-womens-property-inheritance-rights-survey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zameen.com Women\u2019s Property Inheritance Rights Survey<\/a><\/p>\n<p>With the new bill, the KP government aims to authorise the provincial women <em>mohtasib<\/em> to take action against practices that disenfranchise women from inheritance. One the bill becomes an Act, the <em>mohtasib<\/em> will be able to respond to complaints of women harassment at work place and deprivation of women\u2019s share in parents\u2019 property.<\/p>\n<p>As per the rules of the bill, the women <em>mohtasib<\/em> will call upon the district administration to carry out the required action once they receive a complaints from any women who was deprived from her due share in inheritance.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy commissioner (DC) concerned will have the duty to file the reports in the case, and issue a relevant directive for ensuring that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/bill-on-womens-property-rights-approved-by-na-committee.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">women receive their due share in any property<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the provincial <em>mohtasib<\/em> will also have the authorisation of filing a reference in the civil court.
