The announcement was made by Minister for Planning and Development Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, during the \u201cFriends of Silk Road\u201d seminar organised by the Pakistan-China Institute on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/eighteen-hundred-km-dual-track-to-be-constructed-under-cpec.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ML-1&#8217;s 1,800km dual track to be constructed under CPEC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Apart from this project, various other schemes are being completed under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the minister announced. The legal framework for the Gwadar Free Trade Zone has been completed, while a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/gop-decides-to-set-up-cpec-authority.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CPEC Authority<\/a> and a Pakistan-China Business Council are being set up to regulate the projects.
