Meanwhile, KP Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra lauded the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for increasing its revenues in the first quarter by an annual 13.5%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-revamping-depts-to-notch-up-tax-revenue.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KP revamping depts to notch up tax revenue<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the revenue growth was significant in each of the three months of the quarter in KP. Jhagra expressed his appreciation for the KP Revenue Authority (KPRA). He added that the authority was improving its performance with each passing day.<\/p>\n<p>The finance minister stated that they were able to achieve the revenue target due to the hard work of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kp-cm-approves-merger-of-kpra-excise-department.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KPRA<\/a>. He also acknowledged the cooperation of all stakeholders and service providers. He added that the authority has maintained its conventional record of achieving revenue targets.<\/p>\n<p>Jhagra said that they have initiated a monthly evaluation of the KPRA in order to ensure efficiency. He added that they would make reforms based on four significant factors.
