Representatives of 83 government and private organisations attended the workshop. These included Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Accountant General Pakistan Revenue, Accountant General of Balochistan, Balochistan Rural Support Programme, Quetta Development Authority, Balochistan Development Authority, and Excise and Taxation Department. Representatives of universities and medical colleges were also present at the event.<\/p>\n
The participants were provided with information on the significance of the Active Taxpayers List, the definition of tax responsibilities, the reason for filing withholding statements, and the changes introduced in the recent federal budget.
