Multan: Multan Commissioner Iftikhar Sahoo has instructed the departments concerned to share a comprehensive plan to upgrade infrastructure in the city, a news source reported. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar had earlier instructed the commissioner to prepare a plan on initiating development projects in the city.<\/p>\n

To help prioritize these plans, Commissioner Sahoo has asked the Water and Sanitation Authority to prepare and share a comprehensive proposal on upgrading the sewerage system<\/a>. The existing sewerage infrastructure needs urgent replacement, making it a priority for the concerned officials.<\/p>\n

The commissioner has also asked the Multan Development Authority (MDA) to share a plan on the dualisation, expansion and rehabilitation of the road network in the city. Additionally, the Multan Solid Waste Management Company is to identify a site for setting up a landfill site to dump the city\u2019s solid waste.
