The master plan states that no relocation of old neighbourhoods will take place while the authorities concerned restore the old status of the port city.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/balochistan-govt-rehabilitate-gwadar.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Balochistan govt to rehabilitate Gwadar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Previously, the provincial government\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/balochistan-govt-approves-implementation-gwadar-master-plan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">approved the Gwadar master plan<\/a>, which it would enforce till 2050. Following this approval, the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) is set to begin new development projects in the city.<\/p>\n<p>GDA Chief Engineer Syed Muhammad Baloch addressed a ceremony on Thursday, stating that Gwadar had various sports venues from the Omani era. He added that they would restore these venues to maintain the city\u2019s ancient status. He highlighted the environment-friendly projects initiated in the blue-sea city. He also urged people to cooperate with the district administration to keep the city clean.<\/p>\n<p>Baloch revealed that the provincial government has allocated PKR 20 million for the Baba-e-Bizenjo Football stadium and the Senator Ishaq Cricket stadium in Gwadar. He notified them that various projects in Gwadar were near completion.<\/p>\n<p>Kashani told the committee that the authorities concerned had completed 90% construction of the industrial units in the Pilot Zone.
