It had been discussed by a DWP meeting last November. It had been decided that the project would be discussed further in the next meeting, but since then it has been planned and deferred twice.<\/p>\n<p>According to the locals, without the grade separation facility, the intersection near Aabpaara becomes absolutely chaotic during rush hour. The new interchange will be built on Aabpara Chowk that connects 7<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue to Kashmir Highway and Garden Avenue. It is expected to help prevent traffic jams and long waits at the traffic signals in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The estimated cost of the 7<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue Interchange is projected to be PKR 1.5 billion. The work began in November last year and it is yet to be opened to the public.
