Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Tourism and Culture Atif Khan has announced his government\u2019s decision to establish an eco-tourism village<\/a> in Chitral\u2019s Kalash Valley for the preservation and promotion of the area\u2019s culture \u2013 a news source reported.<\/p>\n

He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with a UNESCO delegation, which was led by Vybak Janson. Additional Secretary (Tourism) Babar Khan and Director Archaeology Dr Abdul Samad Khan were all present at the occasion.<\/p>\n

The minister told the delegation that the provincial government was making utmost efforts to develop Kalash Valley into an eco-friendly tourism destination. For this purpose, it will provide technical training, as well as funds, to the locals.<\/p>\n
