Karachi: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has initiated legal proceedings against the owners of 56 suspected benami <\/em>properties in Karachi \u2013 a news source reported. Under the benami law, these properties may be confiscated <\/a>if the sources of income used for their purchase cannot be substantiated \u00a0by their owners.<\/p>\n
