This move is in response to the authority\u2019s bid to extend the tax net to its set target of 4 million filers by the end of this year.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the board had announced that its recorded number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/fbrs-tax-filer-count-crosses-900000-mark.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tax filers had surpassed the 900,000 mark<\/a>. FBR Chairman Shabbar Zaidi also revealed that the number of tax returns recorded on a daily basis had increased by 127% when compared to figures from last year.
