Muzammil Hussain told those present at the occasion that the Tarbela Dam Project released as much as 378 Million Acre-Feet\/Year (MAF) to meet irrigation and farming needs and the Tarbela Hydel Power Station generated 523 billion units of electricity for the national grid.
