The KMC had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/kmc-asked-to-clean-drains-ahead-of-monsoon.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cleaned and cleared drains<\/a>\u00a0around the city before the onset of the monsoon season. Previously, residents and traders had been plagued with problems due to scattered sewerage and broken roads.
