Lahore: Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Minister Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed met with a delegation representing the Abu Dhabi-based<\/a> Muhammad Umer Bin Haider Holding Group, and briefed them on the construction bylaws of the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), according to a news source.<\/p>\n

The delegation was led by Dr Naji Farkhreddin, who stated that his group hold 80 years of experience in the construction sector, and hold a keen interest in building low-cost houses under the NPHP.<\/p>\n

Minister Rasheed also briefed the delegation on the business model to be followed for the construction of low-cost houses under the NPHP. He assured the representatives of the Muhammad Umer Bin Haider Holding Group that the Punjab government would offer every help possible to the foreign investors interested in becoming part of the project. Minister Rasheed also welcomed the group to be part of the NPHP project.<\/p>\n

As one of the members of this meeting, the Punjab Overseas Pakistan Commission (OPC)\u2019s Vice Chairperson Waseem Chaudhary said that the commission is dedicated to promoting foreign investments in the country and welcomed Muhammad Umer Bin Haider Holding Group to invest in Pakistan.<\/p>\n
