As per the publication, these projects are expected to have a total power generation capacity of over 550 Megawatts (MW).<\/p>\n<p>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/measures-underway-promote-renewable-energy-sources-punjab.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Measures underway to promote renewable energy sources in Punjab<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) had approved of the power tariffs for these projects over a year ago, and now the decision has been made to expedite the work being conducted on their development. NEPRA set these tariffs at between 4.7 and 4.8 cents per unit, which translated to PKR 5.60 to PKR 5.80, as per the exchange rates at the time.
