Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has made the decision to expedite the pace of its development projects \u2014 particularly the ventures that are directed towards improving traffic flow and resolving the housing requirements of the city, according to news sources.<\/p>\n

In addition, the department is also taking steps to ensure effective monitoring of these projects. In this regard, a performance review meeting was held at the CDA headquarters that was chaired by Chairman CDA. The heads of all relevant government authorities and Member Engineering were among the attendees of the meeting.<\/p>\n

The members of the session issued directions regarding the priorities of the CDA management and their work in the stalled sectors. The PC-1 for the Sector I-12 is to be completed in three weeks, and will be followed by development in sectors that will enable allottees to build homes. The meeting was appraised of I-15 <\/a>prequalification and the authorities were directed to complete the process early so that tenders could be issued in the last week of November.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the casting of 20 grids at Burma Bridge is to be completed by November\u2019s end and the overall project has been given a deadline of March 2020.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Project Director of Park Enclave was also asked to finish the project in the stipulated time. The progress on Sectors G-7 and 8 was also reviewed by the meeting. Instructions for improving roads capacity were given for various busy areas of the capital.<\/p>\n
