Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is planning to relax its land use rules in order to promote large-scale commercial projects, according to a news source. As a result, the authority has proposed the introduction of a new land category, and a reduction in commercial fee rates, to achieve its goal.<\/p>\n

LDA officials revealed that the body is planning to phase out the current annual commercialisation scheme by 2024. In addition, it will reduce the commercialisation fee of residential property from 20% to 15%.
