As per details, these initiatives include the construction of flyovers and underpasses in various areas of Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>The CM had a meeting with Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Usman Muazzam and Vice Chairman (VC) LDA S M Imran in this regard and received a briefing on the scope of these<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-to-begin-construction-work-on-citys-entrance-gate.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> mega projects<\/a>. He directed the department to prepare the PC-1 for these projects and submit them for approval.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-construct-first-ever-entertainment-park-johar-town.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LDA to construct &#8216;first-ever&#8217; entertainment park in Johar Town<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As per details, the civic agency plans to develop:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A flyover that will run between the Railway Station and Ek Moriya Bridge<\/li>\n<li>Two 3-lane and 2-lane flyovers near the Niazi Chowk<\/li>\n<li>An improved traffic management plan for Firdous Market via an underpass (proposal)<\/li>\n<li>A flyover in the Barkat Market area<\/li>\n<li>A skyline flyover for liberty that will feature eateries and shops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/lda-plans-to-relax-land-use-rules.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LDA plans to relax land use rules<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Later, during a media briefing, the LDA VC said that the department would try to minimise the environmental impact of these constructions.
