The government authority revealed this information to the media on Saturday, and added that, as per estimates, the gas reserves might be significant enough to fulfill the country\u2019s energy needs for the next 90 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/ogdc-to-explore-shale-oil-gas-reserves-in-hyderabad.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OGDC to explore shale oil, gas reserves in Hyderabad<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company discovered oil and gas reserves at its Exploratory Well Tog number 1 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa\u2019s (KP) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/oil-gas-reserves-discovered-kohat.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kohat district<\/a> in October. Preliminary reports showed that the well could produce 50 barrels of crude oil and 4.1 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
