{"id":58023,"date":"2019-11-26T18:20:29","date_gmt":"2019-11-26T18:20:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/blog\/?p=58023"},"modified":"2020-01-29T12:34:56","modified_gmt":"2020-01-29T12:34:56","slug":"phata-announces-guidelines-nphp-applicants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/phata-announces-guidelines-nphp-applicants.html","title":{"rendered":"PHATA announces guidelines for NPHP applicants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore: The Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) has announced the plot prices, payment plans and other specifications for securing property purchases under the government\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/nphp-lahore-phata-shares-plot-price-conditions-set-for-applicants.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP)<\/a>, according to news sources.<\/p>\n<p>The details of the terms and conditions communicated by the authority are as follows:<br \/>\n\u2022 Applicant should hold a Punjab-issued computerised national identity card (CNIC).<br \/>\n\u2022 Applicant should not own any private house or residential plot.<br \/>\n\u2022 Applicant shall follow all the rules and regulations communicated by PHATA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/150000-forms-submitted-at-nphp-registration-camps-in-gujranwala.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">150,000 forms submitted at NPHP registration camps in Gujranwala<\/a><br \/>\nFurther:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The applicants are to submit a (non-refundable) PKR 250 fee for application processing at the selected branches of the Bank of Punjab (BoP). The applicants would also submit their affidavits, attested CNIC copy, two passport sized photos with these applications.<br \/>\n\u2022 The applicant will submit PKR 10,000 as token money with the application, which is refundable in case of he\/she does not secure a place in the ballot process.<br \/>\n\u2022 Those who are unsuccessful in the ballot can get their token money returned by presenting receipt at the relevant BOP branch.<br \/>\n\u2022 After the ballot has been conducted, winners\u2019 credentials are verified and offer letter has been issued; the winners are obligated to submit 20% of the plot\u2019s total price as down payment. In case of non-compliance the token money of PKR 10,000 will be confiscated by the government and the allotment will be cancelled. No extension will be granted in this regard.<br \/>\n\u2022 The remaining plot amount is payable in 36-monthly equal instalments.<br \/>\nPlease note that the plot prices and payment schedules vary depending on the city and the region. Interested candidates can get further information at the contact numbers provided by the department for different cities in the province.
