Peshawar: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan announced on Wednesday that the provincial government had been focusing on industrialisation in order to generate revenue and reduce dependency on federal monetary transfers \u2014 for the execution of development schemes<\/a> \u2014 according to news sources.<\/p>\n

He made this announcement while discussing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government\u2019s ongoing agenda for development with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.<\/p>\n

The minister revealed that the government was undertaking reforms in all business sectors to attract foreign and local investors. The minister expressed hope that industrialisation was KP\u2019s chance to become socioeconomically self-reliant.<\/p>\n
