Parliamentary Secretary for Textile Aliya Hamza informed the session that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pak-china-fta-phase-ii-to-have-safeguard-mechanism.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FTA\u2019s second phase<\/a> reached conclusion on April 9, 2019, following 11 rounds of negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>The second phase had increased Pakistan\u2019s protected list of items from 10% to 25%. It would also establish an \u2018Electronic Data Exchange System\u2019 for curbing under-invoicing and misdeclaration.<\/p>\n<p>Hamza also informed the NA that exports were on the rise. She stated that within the latest quarter, exports had increased by 4%.
