As per the publication, the enrollment of these homes is ultimately expected to lead to the financial stability of the department.<\/p>\n<p>According to an official press release, these households were identified in an 18-month survey conducted under the auspices of KP-WGP (funded by Swiss Development Corporation). This survey was launched in October 2018 and documented the water and sanitation requirements in 67 union councils (45 urban and 22 rural UCs).<\/p>\n<p>In the aforementioned survey, the WSSP identifies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>90,000 households in Zone A, comprising of 9 urban UCs<\/li>\n<li>80,000 households in Zone B, comprising of 21 UCs<\/li>\n<li>64,000 households in Zone C, comprising of 7 UCs<\/li>\n<li>26,000 households in Zone D, comprising of 7 UCs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Read:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/wssp-pda-others-asked-develop-sanitation-plan-peshawar.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WSSP, PDA and others asked to develop sanitation plan for Peshawar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/wssp-to-cut-sewerage-connections-of-unapproved-societies.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WSSP<\/a> increased the operational and management capacity of field and management staff in order to offer better services and meet future demands. To accommodate the increasing number of consumers, the company has also started working on a master plan under the KP-WGP. This proposal suggests that the quantity of disposed waste will likely increase to \u00a01,117 tons, from its current amount of 780 tons.<\/p>\n<p>The survey highlighted the number of tube-wells that will be required and the quantity of water generation.
