Addressing the meeting, the commissioner said that to supervise the construction of the RRR project, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pmu-to-ensure-timely-completion-of-rrrs-project-design-land-acquisition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Project Management Unit<\/a> (PMU) would be formed within a month. For conducting the RRR\u2019s feasibility study, the provincial government has already allocated PKR 10 billion.<\/p>\n<p>To further speed up the process, the Rawalpindi commissioner has asked the Ministry of Housing and Physical Planning to initiate the process for hiring technical officials for the PMU. As per details, Commissioner Mehmood has been appointed as the PMU project director.
