Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved of a decision to once again begin the construction of Pakistan\u2019s tallest building \u2014 with the structure expected to be located on Ferozepur Road, a news source reported. As per the publication, the government has contacted UAE authorities in this regard, in order to ask them for assistance with the development of this project.<\/p>\n

According to the details available, the project was initially conceived and launched under the government of former Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi. However, the project did not receive much attention during the tenures of the subsequent Punjab governments (between 2008 and 2018). However, the current administration has decided to revisit the original idea, and see it through to the end.<\/p>\n
