Karachi: A number of roads closed for development work are set to reopen early next year following the completion of their rehabilitation work; conducted to ease traffic flow across the city \u2013 a news source reported.<\/p>\n

MA Jinnah Road was closed from Capri Cinema to Numaish Chowrangi for the construction of Green Line Bus Rapid Transit. The road from Numaish to the Nawa-i-Waqt Chowrangi and Breton Road from Numaish Chowrangi to Sharae Quaideen are also closed for the same project.<\/p>\n

The construction work was started on Numaish Chowrangi in October 2018. Similarly the dual track on MA Jinnah Road from Capri Cinema to Numaish Chowrangi and the Nawa-i-Waqt office has been closed for more than a year.<\/p>\n

The work was expected to be completed in about six months, but was delayed for various reasons.<\/p>\n

Now, the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company Limited (SIDCL) has announced its decision to reopen the dual track road from Numaish Chowrangi to the Nawa-i-Waqt this month.<\/p>\n

Similarly, the road from Numaish to Sharae Quaideen in front of the Quaid\u2019s Mausoleum and Bagh-e-Jinnah will also be opened this month.<\/p>\n
